Kullarri region Municipal Services is a partnership between Nirrumbuk and the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to provide selected Municipal Services to the 72 active outstations in the Kullarri Region.
Nirrumbuk Municipal Services are done in accordance with FaHCSIA priorities around power, water, waste, roads, infrastructure, landscaping and dust control.
Works are done by a roving Broome based crew and are programmed so that each outstation receives at least two visits per financial year.
Scope of works includes slashing and firebreaks around power, water, fencing and building infrastructure, rubbish tip provision and maintenance, minor works within the outstation and assistance with minor dust suppression activities.
